Dental Exams & Cleanings

At Baltimore Pediatric Dentistry, we believe that a strong foundation in preventative care is essential to your child’s bright and healthy smile. The best way to build this foundation is with biannual exams and cleanings, as recommended by the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. These appointments start with your child’s teeth being fully cleaned to remove any plaque or tarter build-up that may have accumulated since their last appointment. Our team will identify which areas your child is brushing well and where there is room for improvement. Giving your child the tools and teaching them how to keep their smile confident and healthy are essential to what we do.

After your child’s teeth have been cleaned, we will complete their exam and answer any questions you or your child may have. These exams are an important way to monitor your child’s growth and development as well as make sure they do not have any cavities. These exams also provide an opportunity for us to go over with your child where they can improve their oral hygiene habits.
